This one is epic as hell. So thrilled to present you a new song by Toronto, Ontario based 6 piece experimental screamo/black metal/post-hardcore-rock band Respire. Some of know may now one half of the group as a part of the almighty screamo band Foxmoulder. “Eternal Light” the third track of the upcoming record called “Gravity and Grace” is an overwhelming almost 7 minutes long post-rock-screamo melange that will probably leave you totally stunned.
“Gravity and Grace” deals with topics like loss, addiction, heartbreak, and existential anguish but also with sense of hope, resolve and forgiveness – you’ll hear that in every single tune and in every screamed line. Bloodcurdling stuff – so unblieveable good.
Strong contender for album of the year? Yes. I mean screamo-black-metal with trumpets? – for that reason alone. “Gravity and Grace” is going to be huge in the scene and I’m damn exicted about it.
