To be honest – I’m pretty excited and thrilled right now. Getting the opportunity to present a song of such a stunning collaboration is not commonplace. This will probably be the best thing in screamo this year. So where to begin this awesomeness? Take one of the best upcoming screamo acts, a legendary screamo band, a ridiculously good label and you’ll get this sick split between Shirokuma/Suis La Lune released via Dog Knights Productions.
“Leave Me” by Shirokuma is the first single-output of the split and damn, this band just gets better and better with every single tune. I know you all can’t wait to hear it so – enjoy and hope you’ll dig it as much as I did. Much love to all the people involved.
“So this project started almost exactly a year ago after we played a show in stockholm with Sore Eyelids. Karl from Suis La Lune approached us about releasing a 7″ split, we were stoked about it so we talked to Dog Knights the same night and they agreed to release it. We started writing the songs late august and soon realised that we could make enough material for a full 12″ split and here we are! Super excited to finally release a part of it! All the love to Suis La Lune and Dog Knights for making this happen!”
